You can view up-to-date leads after you have posted your entry(s) and connected to the TransCore Link Logistics Network.
See the Posting Legend for details on the colored Forklift icon located under the Lds column.
How To Access
From the Posting screen;
1. Double-click the leads icon
2. Use short cut key (Ctrl +L) to view the selected posting’s leads page.
OR
3. Select the posting and click View|Leads from the pull down menu or pop-up menu.

Components
The Matching Information Screen provides you with;
Leads List Lists all available matches for your posting.(Date, Origin, Destination, Vehicle Type, Size of Vehicle, Company Name, Posted Date, and Comments). You can scroll through this screen using the horizontal scroll arrows. To sort by a column, click on the column title.
Contact Tab Provides you with detailed information about the company you have selected. This tab allows you to enter dispatch comments.
Web info Tab Provides you with the e-mail , website and slogan info.
Authority Tab Provides the operating authorities for the specified company. If the View Authorities box is active you can click
Equifax Tab Provides you with the Equifax credit information for the selected. The "Detail" button will be highlighted on this tab if a detailed report is on file. To view the detailed report, click on the button. For information see Requesting/Viewing Credit Reports.
TransCredit US Tab Provides you with the TransCredit US credit information for the selected. The "Detail" button will be highlighted on this tab if a detailed report is on file. To view the detailed report, click on the button. For information see Requesting/Viewing Credit Reports.
Insurance Tab Provides the insurance information that is on file with TransCore Link Logistics Inc. for the specified company.
You can open tabs by single-click any place on the tabs and can hide the tabs by clicking on the Close Tabs button or by right clicking on the tabs and selecting Close Tab option.
There is a contacted option which appears on the pop-up and pull-down menus.
You can either double-click on the
icon to the left of the entry, or click Contacted from the pop-up or pull-down
menu to mark the entry as contacted. The purpose of this is so that the company
is not contacted again for the same information. When the entry has been marked
contacted the
icon
will appear to the left.
There is a Send Mail option. If you wish to send mail to a company, select the desired company and click Compose Mail from the pop-up or pull-down menu.
LinkChat option is also available. If you wish to send instant message to a company, select the desired company and click LinkChat from the pop-up or pull-down menu.
Note: When sending mail from this screen, it automatically inputs the origin and destination points of the Lead in the subject box.
The Leads List shows all available leads on your posting. To access the leads
list, click on the icon.
If the icon is red, that means there are no leads on the posting. If it is blue, then the posting hasn't been
submitted yet and you must connect to Link. If the icon is yellow, that means there are new leads on the
posting (see Running Link Live).
A typical group of leads on an equipment posting would look like this:
Here is a breakdown of the meanings of each column:
QP: Quick Pay Icon designates quick payment is available for the lead.
P3 : Icon designates the posting company as a TIA P3 partner, a best practices partnership developed by TIA.
TIA: Icon designates the posting company is a TIA member.
Sat: The column indicates the carriers that have satellite tracking. Yellow Sat Icons indicated Clobalwave Service.
Chat : Icon designate the posting company is sending instant messages to you by LinkChat .
Cnt: Icon is clickable, to help you keep track of which companies you have already contacted.
DirO: The direction of the truck or load's origin point from the origin point you posted.
DFO: The distance between the truck or load's origin point and the origin point you posted
LD: The distance between the load's origin and destination.
DFD: The distance between the load's destination and the destination you posted.
Date: The date the truck or load is available.
OST: The state or province of the truck / load's point of origin.
Origin: The truck / load's city of origin.
DST: The destination state/province
Destination: The truck / load's destination city.
Vtype: The vehicle types required for the load, or the equipment types available (see Leads Legend for more info)
Sz:The size of the load (either T for Truckload or L for LTL, or in the case of a posted truck, B for Both).
Company: The name of the posting company.
Posted: The date and time the posting was received by Link.
Comments: Pertinent information entered by the posting company.
Note: Mileages appearing in red are not actual miles, rather they are calculated using geographical coordinates.
As such, they do not reflect the actual distance traveled by a truck.
Also note that QP, LD and DFD columns do not appear on leads for posted loads.
If you wish to remove some of the unnecessary columns from view (DirO, LD,
DFD etc) right click column title of leads and deselect/select the columns; you
also can click on File|Preferences|Leads and customize the columns of leads.
